A level 4 youth hockey coach with four years of college hockey experience, Nichelle has brought a new passion to women’s hockey in the south. Nichelle began her hockey career playing at Shattuck-St. Mary’s as a senior in high school. She then went on to play four years of NCAA Division III hockey as a defenseman. She was an Assistant Captain in her second year of college hockey and she also earned an All-conference Honorable Mention two out of the four years. At Neumann College she helped her team on the way to their first playoff birth. After college Nichelle went on to assistant coach the Thunder Girls 16U team in 2006-07 and head coach the 19U team in 2007-08.

Academically, Nichelle obtained an undergraduate business degree in Computer Information Systems in ’07 from Georgia State University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and also earned the James P. Rozelle Outstanding Programmer award in her final year.
